    Hello,

I recently built my new pc, and installed a fresh copy of Vista 64bit with SP1 pre-installed which is activated. Everything runs great for a few days, then IE7 will stop me from viewing flash, downloading anything and logging onto Live messenger giving me a code of 80070005 which is only fixable if you create a new user account in windows, so i did and after a few days more the same thing happened with my new account because its something to do with Aero and that windows live cant function under it which i find very strange. So i formatted the drive and did a clean install of the same O/S and the same thing happened after a day. I am currently using XP64 with no problems but i would still really like to use vista.

Has anyone encountered these problems before?

    Thanks -

    Hi Hesnor,

Can't say I've had this problem with Vista but to use the Aero I did have to upgrade my video card. Otherwise it caused a lot of problems. However about the Windows Live thing I did find something that may be of some help to you. Here I'll post a link

Hopefully one of these suggestions will solve your problem. I don't use Live myself so I'm not sure exactly how to fix that. Keep us posted and good luck!
