yo i got windows vista rtm 6000 and my usb device dont work. my usb hd my usb pen drive my usb mouse i gotta use a converter for my mouse , tried many thing no luck any help
Dump Vista and go back to XP. Or try getting new drivers... *which probably won't be released untill at least januari, which is when the official "consumer" retail gets released ,so basically you're stuck without your USB stuff 'till then*
Though I never had any issues with the USB hard drive in the beta versions, I can say that USB mice have given me nothing but trouble even in XP...(even with the USB Mouse/Keyboard support enabled in the BIOS) One thing you might try for the mouse, is to use the PS2 adapter.
so Vista ant that good? when it comes out ar eyou guys gona use fully or on a partoin or not at all!?
Touran, if you're gonna ask stupid questions, could you at least do it in the Vista thread in the Safety Valve ? Rather than hijack this guy's thread ?
My friend has the same problem with his version of vista FINAL, i cant figure out why he cant use it.
Problem Sovled , i just unpluged my computer complete and clear teh cmos and it worked , dont ask how and why. but i did and it worked , bdw vista is a great os considering its only a beta. cant wait till the offical .
