    well i started learning visual basic as part of teh com subject at school a few weeks ago,and we've touched on teh basics,with some graphics and arrays and command buttons,and timers etc and the usall basic stuff,We are using visual basic 6.The thing is that i've decided that i want to practive at home,and I've been looking around on the net for a free version of visual basic without any prevail,so I need help,please...i've donwlaoded the visual basic 2005 free version from ms,but that just sucks,it has no create normal exe function and therefore i cannot practice any programming taht I know,is there anyway i can obtain a copy of visual basic 6 that I can use to practice???

    there are trials but none of them actually allow you to create the exe otherwise they would have no way of making money and for all the programming done with it they need money for it lol

    Sorry but this is one of those programs that you just have to buy if you want to practice :)

    If your doing it for school sometimes they have a lisence (on/off site) which allows you to install it at home on your computer and use it. Ask at school if they can if you a copy and they might be able to...
