VLC based full emersion media center?

    Hello,

    Windows Media Center sucks. It crashes, the load times are horrendous, the navigation is fairly doody.

    Does anyone know of a media center that is based off of VLC?

    Program called VLC media player. Plays anything with good load times.

    First off wmc is xp professional with a media add on,your description suggests a buggy computer & poor maintenance & more than likley very little decent ram amongst other things,time to do a reformat or at least that's a start,after which download xbmc (xbox media centre)there is a version for windows & works quite well,it's base is media player classic which is more than a match for vlc,xbmc will do what you want & then some
