What's the difference? IOW, what is it that makes "VLC Portable" more, er...portable than VLC, and what is meant by "portable" Both have the same description.
VLC Portable - "You can place it on your USB flash drive, iPod, portable hard drive or a CD and use it on any computer, without leaving any personal information behind." I read this to mean that VLC portable is a runnable application that doesn't need to be installed, as opposed to VLC which does need to be installed.
