    Hi ppl
I have a little problem im trying to burn some xvid to dvd but ive com across a little problem that i cant solve. So if any1 could help it would be great heres the problem, ive been converting the xvid file to vob using vso divxtodvd but they seem to com out in 2 vob files 2 ifo and 2 bup. Now can any1 tell me how i can put these on a dvd to play in a stand alone dvd player. Do i need to join the 2 vob files? And is there anyway i can use dvdsytler to in this process because i feel it is the best programme to creat menu's could som1 please help.

    Thanks

Are those two VOB files that you mentioned VIDEO_TS.VOB and AUDIO_TS.VOB? I have never used DVDStyler, I use DVD Shrink(can't create menus). I open the file VIDEO_TS - encode, burn.... Don't worry about AUDIO_TS.

Your file structure should be as follows if it is being done correctly:

    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VIDEO_TS.VOB
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_01_0.VOB

Is this how the finished file structure looks?

There should be be an AUDIO_TS.VOB as stated in the previous post. The AUDIO_TS is just an empty directory, not a file concerned with the VOB IFO and BUP files.

    Hey

    The files read:

    Video_TS.BUP
    Video_TS.IFO
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_01_001.VOB
    VTS_01_002.VOB

So this isn't the same structure as the one you said it should be putter but i think ihave solved the problem i am using a programme called AVI/MPEG/RM joiner and joining the 2 VTS VOB files to create 1 VOB and then using dvdstyler i create a menu and then an iso which i burn to dvd using DVD Decrypter. So i think all is well thank you for your help both of you. Also now i have solved it i highly recommend using DVDStyler to create great menu's with ease.
    Thanks Again
