How would I go about doing this? I have a movie that I ripped a while back, but I deleted everything but the VOB. My original cannot be read anymore because of a crack and chip in the disc. I would like the movie to play normally on a standalone player. Will DVD shrink do this?
Shrink can't turn a vob into a DVD. Are you sure you have only one vob? There usually are a bunch of them on a DVD. Lemony Snicket has 17 .VOBs for example. you could use Nerovision Express to load the vob(s) into. that program would add the other needed files (.ifo and .bup files) to make it compliant and then complete, by burning. You could also try Ifoedit if you like a challenge.
There are quite a few VOB files. Unless if nerovision express is free it looks like ifoedit it is. I will search for some guides, but if you know of any could you please post links? Thanks
