You must have a DVD player installed on your PC. Then select to play file.

You can easily watch VOB files on the computer with Power DVD. Just go to file mode and click on each VOB file in turn and press play.
    Sorted.

Well I figured out how to load the file using Power DVD, but not it says that my player is not the right region. What do I do now, is it my setup on the program or my hardware?

You should be able to change the region in Power DVD settings. You normally get a limited number of changes before the region locks. Alternatively there are region free plugins from the software section at this website that will do it.

i am concerned that if i can't play my movie from my computer's hard drive then if i burn a back up copy then i will not be able to watch it on my home player. I haven't had this problem until I got this message on my computer.
