someone in my family wants me to make a video for them. Its on a sony mini disc. The person lives in canada with the sony Handycam and i cant use that to hook up to computer and get video off that way. so i have about 8 disc i need to get video off of and use on adobe premiere and make the movie. any suggestions on what program i should use? any help would be apprecciated. thanks
If they are .VOB files in a standard VIDEO_TS folder, then DVD Shrink should be able to rip the files to the hard drive. run DVD Shrink, 'Open Disc' > 'Backup' and select the hard drive as the target. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm
im familiar with dvd shrink. but i need the files to to be converted to avi. just looking for a program to convert he files thanks for your help
