I recently used anydvd and dvd shrink to convert a dvd, casino royale, to vob format, but when i use videora to convert the vob file to a format for my ipod, i get an error message saying something is wrong with the bitrate or resolution. does any1 know how i can resolve this problem or have an alternative to videora that might work? thanks
i use the pay programs when converting video to I-Pod the freeware I've used always has problem. CloneDVDmoblie or dvdfab platinum both work great
I have always had audio sync problems with the free programs that convert my DVDs to ipod (mp4) format! I used to use DVDFab to convert to mp4 but now I like Cucosoft Ultimate DVD+Video Converter Suite. I have never had a problem with this program and it does a great job! No audio sync problems and works wonders for my iPhone.
you need to post here to find freeware http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/159 remembr the freeware may work or may not thats why its freeware where as the pay programs are bullet proof
Totally agree...the freeware to converd dvd to ipod mp4 sucks.In fact clone mobile sucks too in that the audio and video is out of sync.Massive forum on this issue at slysoft, but hasnt been fixed and its been like that since day one.HOWEVER...Ive bought cucusoft software, and its excellent, easy to use, great quality and the sync is spot on.The dvd to ipod pack means that you can converst straight from disc, or vobs that have been ripped.Try the demo!
@ZoSoIV Lucky you!! I was gobsmacked with clone mobile, cos i use doth anydvd and clone dvd which are superlative!, Id re installed clone mobile several times, de fragged etc but no way hose....well out of sync everytime.Why the hell cant all software work the same for everyone!!!
pieman, try ripping the DVD to you're HDD first with the anydvd ripper then run it though CloneDVDmoblie and see if that works
