Someone just directed me to use VobBlanker to edit my DVD's the way I like them. I fired it up, cut out the crap, but when I pull it up in DVD-Rebuilder, it says 'run time error 9 ' 'subscript out of range error.' Since I don't know anything about this program, I don't know how to fix it. I've tried it twice and gotten the same things. Any help is appreciated. Many Thanks, EC
Are the "1/2 D1" or "1/2 D1 1/2 space" for extras options checked? This causes trouble with some machines.
Those options are in dvd-rebuilder under mode, half-D1 for extras and half-D1 and half space for extras, like Jigen said untick this option if ticked. What version of rebuilder are you usuing? Can you also give us more information, like how did you put the movie on your HDD, what Encoder are you using, but most important what settings have you used in rebuilder, where have you selected for your input and output folders.
what does VobBlanker do anyway? From what I understand, doesn't main movie, and menus do the same thing? Unless you wanted some extras and not others? I went to the VobBlanker website but I'm still not sure what it does.
VOB Blanker is a tool used for 'blanking' out just about any part of an IFO. What I mean by 'blanking' is can replace, for example, all of the special features on one dvd with a black screen which lasts only a few seconds, in the ending result, leaving more space for the main movie. P.S. At least that's what I normally use it for; I'm sure there's zillions more things you can do with it, but there's just a rough idea. From what I've heard, it's similar to DVD Stripper??!??
