Hi sunup What are you using to rip the files to hard drive 1st w/ ? Version of the software used? Sounds like you may have a bad rip.
Which versio? If not using the latest version try that one it's 3.0.3.5 or the beta 3.0.3.8 http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm Here's a version history on the new beta: 3.0.3.8 Beta (11/14/2006) - New: Added support for a new Sony ARccOS protection as found on a special version of "Little Man" (R1). Note: It's clear that there are two versions of "Little Man" (R1) with different protections: one is already supported, and we add support for the new one. - Fix: A crash problem when opening DVD in certain cases. - Fix: Several minor problems.
hi binkie what up!!!i have a question for you whats the difference between the two? beta? i seached and did not find anything?
Hey Born2Ride They only diff in the 2 is what's in the version history above - a few more fixes from the previous versions. Beta though means still in testing. This is like the 3rd (?) beta I think beta since 3.0.3.5 so looks like Fengtao is really trying the get things worked out that some users may have had problems with. If you want to give the beta a go click on the link above - you can download it from there.
I get this error message ONLY when the disc is badly damaged/scratched. However, knocking on wood, after cleaning the disc with toothpaste, the deep scratches and smudges were nullified by the cleaning and thus, the error message was no more!
