i have the movie phone booth with bad subtitles and i wanted to put a new ones (the movie overall size is about 2,6GB-- not very good quality ;) ). when i demux i get 4 files: one wav (800MB), one ac3 (250MB), one M2V(1,4GB) and one SUP. id like to know which ones do i use in the authoring. i think its the ac3 and de m2v but the size will be much smaller than the original. and why is there wav? is something wrong? ive opened the video and the total time was about 1 hour(less than the original of course) but if i see the movie from beginning the time will get bigger and bigger in the media player info. thanks

    I never use VOBEdit.

I demux the stuff using ReJig, choosing the traces I want to extract (video+my audio), checking the 'demuc video' box and keeping 'correct AC3 delay' checked, do I don't have to re-insert the delay when I re-author all.
After that, I would convert a good (an in-sync) SRT to SUP with SrtSup or Subtitle Creator, copy the subtitle color from a good IFO from IFOEdit and re-author it all (again with IFOEDit).
