I have used DVDShrink and Nero Express to burn a few DVDs, but I am stuck a problem DVD. I was getting cyclical errors in DVDShrink so I tried to rip the DVD to my hard drive with over tools (SmartRipper and DVDDecrypter). With those I got a bunch of read errors and never was able to get the whole DVD ripped. However, it looks like the movie part got ripped just fine. I skimmed through it using my computer. What I don't know is what do I use to get it on a DVD? I don't think DVDShrink can do it since I don't have the whole thing ripped. Also, the movie looks a little too big so it probably needs to be compressed first. What are my options? Are there any good free/cheap tools to do this? Thanks
You can create the new IFo's using IFOEDIT. It is a free download. See the link below for a guide :- http://users.pandora.be/rudy.stremersch/createifo.html You should then be able to load these files into DVDshrink as usual. I have been digging through some old threads since I posted and I figured that might be one way to go. Unfortunately, I am running XP and I read that IFOEDIT does not always work on XP. Do you think this will be a problem? In any case, I will try it tonight. Thanks
