Vocabulary

i'm n00b when it comes to all the terms and junk, i've tried getting to understand them but it's hard.

Could someone make a vocabulary guide of a bunch of modding terms in a way where someons like me could read it?

ok, whats a torrent? first off
an emanulators and applications

 

torrents are downloads that u get off of special sites. its like limewire but has alot of good stuff.

applications are things u use to do stuff, like save gams to hdd and watch movies without the remote

emanulators not shure

 

i dont know your sig might to big or you might have to take out the animated one so you dont take up to muchroom.

and the rules say no sig that flash brightly

the sig limits are 500x200 i think but your big one
is 479x320

 

An emulator is just what it sounds like.

It Emulates another system.

With an NES Emulator, you can play all the old Nintendo games on your modded XBOX. The Game files are called ROMS. They run inside the emulator, and allow you to play.

You can do this with sega, N64, SNES, PS1, and even some old arcade games.

Emulation is one of the things that really made me want to mod by XBOX.

 

where do you get some of those?

 

Do you have a softmodded XBOX?

If not, then you need to do that first.

If you download the lastest AID disc from http://www.xbox-hq.com it will have all the emultaors your heart could want.

If you want ROMS (games), you can find them on the bittorrent networks, xbins, ect.
