Hi guys, I have read the posts on how to rectify this annouying fault but I still cant manage to stop the incessant drivel of the voice over people. I've pressed all the buttons, factory reset the box but still it persists... Help!!! I feel like cutting my cable lead.... Can someone please advise me...
Thanks guys for the help.... I have Starview The Box - to resolve this issue:- 1. Go to movie channel with voice over 2. Go to Menu option - then select "Installation" 3. Select "Manual Scan" 4. Highlight "Network Scan" and use <> button to "Enable" 5. Then Select "OK" and STB will update channels. When this is complete, the STB will take you to the point where the new scanned channels are saved. Here find the latest movie channel that you selected in 1, then press the "Audio" button, highlight "English" from "NAR" and press OK. This will get rid of the annouying voice over people. (definately works) You can use the "Channel Edit" function from the Menu screen to move/store the new channel or channels to where you prefere. Hope this helps someone who has same fault and getting no response from forum members...
No worries Jam30... Im glad it helped, didnt get much info from forum members, they're quite uptight in here...
ok guys i seem to have sorted my starview 1 out, here's what to do do a complete rescan without deleting anything prior to the scan after the scan is done and saved you should have the new movie channels plus anything else at the end of your channel listings go to the new movie channel of your choice now you can press the audio button on the new movie channels and change it to english, press ok and the voice over is gone, do this to all the movie channels hope this helps let me know if it works for you
and you have 2 lots of channels,do a factory reset 0000 to delete, autoscan from direct feed, set default key and emu to on and exit out, then check your channel and audio.
