    Hi all
I've searched forum but couldnt find similar subject...
Anyways, I've notices that when I watch some videos (mostly AVIs,DIVX) audio volume is different for some "audio elements" in same video. Sometimes are voices of actors very very low that I must pump up the volume but then when some action scene comes up or music (bangs and other sound effects) I jump from the chair cos the sounds are then very very loud. Is this common problem? Can I somehow "normalize" volume so that all audio elements have same level (adjusting voices to be louder or adjusting effects/music to be lower)?
    Thanx for your suggestions/thoughts !!!

One way;if the AVI has mp3 audio, you could open in in 'VirtualDubMod' and 'Demux' the audio.
Load the demuxed mp3 into 'Audacity' and use its 'Compressor..' effect to dynamically compress the audio to your liking.
Save the new mp3 then load it back into VirtualDubMod,(disable the existing audio and 'Add' the new mp3) then save the new AVI.
