Hello everyone, is their anyway to echance the volume when burning DVD? I notice that when playing a DVD +/- R that the volume seem low. Also, has anyone run into any problems burning DVD + R DL with Nero 6.x.x.x. When playing DVD I ran into few pauses or hung, but the rest of the movie play fine. Thanks for any help or suggest ahead of time!!
This problem can be caused by a couple of things, bad choice of media(memorex) or too high a burning speed, I like to keep my burning speed at 4x.
Thanks for the reply. Let me give little backaround to my problem. I burn the DVD on Nec 3500ag, using Shrink (latest ver), and Nero 6.x.x. The media I use was Verbatim DVD +R DL. I use the speed that was suggested on the box which was 2.4x. Again Thanks!
let's have LAST section of your Nero log which lives in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar. @Redtail1 I noticed you're missing the Nero version on your log, so what Nero version are you using now? If you're using Nero 6 Ultra and you don't have the latest, then you need to update to the most current, which is Nero 6.6.0.18 or if you're using Nero 7 Ultra/Premium, then update to 7.0.1.4 Go here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1904 and get the latest firmware 2.1A -- you're 2 versions behind. Your burner's DMA is OFF, plus your other two drivers are Off also. You need to enable them/DMA back On. Go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 and follow the steps to "enable" DMA by "uninstalling" its drivers. This should have 2 more lines after that. Either your firmware is old or a combination of Nero and firmware. You need to update your burner's firmware, so it can recognize the media and its media code. Yep, seems like your burner can not read/recognize the DL media you're using, or either it doesn't like it. If you haven't tried Verbatim DVD+R DL, then try it (Verbatim DVD+R DL) for your next DL project. Verbatim is top notch media for both 4.7GB (single layer) and DL media. Remember to update your firmware.
