This has just begun after some success with it in recent weeks. I have found if I have an AVI for example, and it goes through the conversion thing, everything is fine. Now when it tries to start the burning to DVD, the program locks up and I have to reboot to get my system to start again. I cant get the Disc out of the drive until I reboot. Has anyone experienced this and or any suggestions as to the cause/remedy. Oh yeah, I am running windows xp Pro with 1gb ram on a 2.3ghz Intel P4. Thanks in advance
i take it you are using the burning program installed in the program.My suggestion is, dont use that one but use another like nernce the conversion is done, its on your hard drive.So its very easy just to laod it into another burning engine and proceed with your project to disc.If however you use nero and it still freezes, see if you can save the log file and copy and paste it into your next post
Thanks for that, I dont have the nero that burns DVDs, so I tried uninstalling and re-installing the program and it seems to have worked, at least for now.
