I downloaded the shareware version of VSO DivX to DVD and used it to try and convert some FLV format files to DVD. I run the convert and then burn a DVD. The DVD plays great on any PC using InterVideo but I only get the video portion when trying to play the DVD on a standalone DVD player.
If you are in North America, it should be 'NTSC'. Anywhere else, 'PAL'. This ensures that the output video will be the same standard as your TV regardless of the input file..
Thank you for your reply. The video is OK. The problem is the lack of audio on the final DVD. The disk output file does have audio but when I burn the dvd there is no sound. So I don't know where to look in order to solve this problem
Is there anyone out there that would be willing to try the following for me just to see if you get the same results. Video but No Audio 1. Download any music video from Youtube. 2. Convert the video using DivXtoDVD. (Shareware version) 3. Burn the output from Step 2 to a dvd. 4. See if the dvd from Step 3 will play on a standalone dvd player. Thank you and all for any assistance you can provide.
You are using an antique, buggy, early BETA. Move on to some of the current, far superior products available now.
WOW! Thanks, I must be doing something wrong although I did download two videos, one worked ok but the other one still had no audio. Thank you, I really appreciate your help!
To ATTAR downloaded the video you listed. Went thru the process but again there is no audio. I use RealPlayer to download the video. I am using DVD Cloner V to burn the dvd. What did you use to burn the dvd?
