When DVD2one is finished should the vts files have audio? Meaning, I want to see how movie came out before burning to a disc. If I click on one of the vts files my powerdvd program starts and I see the movie but no audio. Or, is there a way to find out if movie is correct without burning it to a disc. I am backing up From Hell. I believe my no audio problem when playing the backup on my computer is I checked the DTS audio instead of AC6. The disc plays fine on my stand alone DVD player.

It is quite common for it not to have audio on the computer without making an ISO file or loading the VIDEO_TS.IFO file into WinDVD or something. Did u select a DTS audio file as this can also be part of it!

Here is what happened. I re-done my back-up and only checked AC-6 audio and not DTS. It now plays on my computer and my DVD player at my TV. My question is, should the vts files play like a movie when opening them? (audio and video). I wanted to see how the movie came out before burning and when I opened the vts file I had video and no audio. However, when I burned it to DVD it played fine as long as I didn't check the DTS block. Is there a way to see if the movie is ok before burning it to DVD?

You musnt have a DTS encoder installed or a DVD player that accepts them. Its quite common. To check, load the VIDEO_TS.IFO file into winDVD.

It is a common problem in WinDVD & PowerDVD that you cannot hear any audio but when files are burnt the audio is there !!!

All you can do , is to make sure by burning onto RW disc first.
