Vxxx software aquisition and installation walkthrough

This appears to be a great walkthrough on getting the software to work with your Motorola Vxxx phone. I picked it off of M3phist0's signature here in forums. Those of you having problems with your Vxxx phone, give this a try if you are having problems.

I haven't used it as I have both my V220 and V400 working fine with the MPTs.

Also, this tip has seemed to work for several as well. It applies if you are installing from version 1.23 of the MPTs and upgrading from there.

Unzip and run the setup for MPT 1.23.

When you get the dreaded 'Unhandled exception 0x80040707 error', don't close it! Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up Task Mgr, end end the Setup.exe process.

Install the MPT 2.21b upgrade.
