Hi. Download SmitfraudFix.zip to your desktop -> http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip Unzip it (folder named SmitFraudFix) to your desktop: Open the folder SmitfraudFix and doubleclick smitfraudfix.cmd Choose option #1 - Search by typing 1 and pressing "Enter"; a textfile opens and lists the infected files (if those exist) Post the contents of this textfile to here. (Some antiviruses recognises process.exe as a malware. It is not malware, it is a program that stops processes)
Hi, Thanks for your help. I've tried this several times, but every time I click on SmitfraudFix.cmd, I get a red window up that says Fichier Process.exe absent! ... Press any key to continue ... I try pressing 1, and the window disappears. What am I doing wrong?
OK, I'm a dork. OK, here we go. Yes, ZoneAlarm has an anti-virus, but I only installed it after all this mess started. The poker apps are there on purpose. As to the ISP, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was run out of someone's basement. It's sort of how Malta works. Unless this Simon Vella IP address is posing a threat of some sort, I think we're OK to ignore it. If we deleted / blocked it and it did turn out to be crucial, it'd take the Maltese tech guys 3 years to find the problem, even if it was explained.
