Just picked up this virus after clicking to see funny media from around the world. Yeah ... I'm still laughing ... I should never have downloaded that codec or whatever they called it! Anyway, Could you help me out? I've stored most of the programs already on my desktop and I can probably get most of this done asap. Thanks, M
Follow the directions here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/370698 After all is complete go here http://www.hijackthis.de click on "Direct Download". When finished extract to a location of your choice. Run HijackThis and save a log file. Post that log file here.
After Downloaded SmitFraudFix & ran SmitfraudFix.cmd; The error screen says: Ficher Process.exe Absent ! Process.exe Absent ! Unzip all the archives in a folder. Press any key to continue... [problem is Fischer Process was not included in ZIP download] Any Advice is appreciated
