All they need is a signature. Visit both of these sites and hopefully we can get something done.

    www.one.org
    www.live8live.com

And if you want to watch the concert, it is live right now on MTV and VH1.

shows how much you know about it then :p

it aint about money, its about getting rid of the debt, not giving them money which is just wasting time as we have seen before

yes people will be making money off the back of this, especially the artists and nokia and aol as the uk stage has there names at the side, but its not for charity so its ok

its also live on aol, and bbc 1 in the uk if you dont have sky

ive already signed it, cheers drawingls

I just talked to my brother who's in Italy now and they saw the live 8 concert there...he said it was pretty cool, but mostly Italian bands he's never heard of.

    @Doggy_Bot

none of the god damn money is going to africa so stop saying it! its got nothing to do with giving them money AT ALL

the idea is to put pressure on the g8 leaders to SCRAP AFRICAS DEBT, no money is going to anyone in africa

this isnt a charity even like last time, its about political pressure

hopefully this clears it up this time :)

Doggy_bot: You've lost the idea completely, jpp01uk got it right -- its about pressuring G8 countries (eight biggest countries in terms of GDP) to forgive all of the poor countries' debt and also to double the aid they give for fighting the poverty, HIV, etc in the poorest of the poor countries.

Yes, I signed up the petition, as have millions of others. Do it now at http://www.live8live.com/

I tried to get on there site b4 but kept getting "The page cannot be displayed"

I watched it for most of the night and The Who & Pink Floyd were just great, lets just hope this really can help others.

I got goosebumps watching the clip from the final act in London with Paul McCartney singing Hey Jude with everyone else. It was awesome. I also enjoyed the Black Eyed Peas performing with the family of Bob Marley.

I've signed also. Everybody should. There's no excuse in todays modern world for a mother to have to watch her children starve to death.
