I have a bunch of divx's but they have a bunch of stuff at the end of each one that I would like to delete.

I have checked through the forum and people say to use VirtualDubMOD however it will not allow me to save to divx. Only avi

Or I missing something here when using it?

    Addition info
    WinXp Pro sp2
    Fat32 partitions

    VirtualDubMod
    1.5.10.2 b2542 (Feb 24, 2006)

Is there a program that allows direct editing of divx?

To save the file in the original format, click 'Video' and 'Direct Stream Copy'.
Only if filters were used or you explicitly elected to re-compress the source, would the video be changed.

VirtualDub works with AVI files;those files can comprise DivX, XviD, and most anything else that can go in the AVI container.

If other codecs are required to decompress or recompress AVI files, they can be downloaded and installed in the system, then VirtualDub will automatically access them as required.

    To attar,

Thanks that was exactly what I wanted to do. I just did one and was able to chop the last 20 minutes. This allowed 200 mb to be removed from each video file.

Thanks again for such good advice and explanation.
