Hey i have just installed AID 3,0 and quite happy with all of the features, i put in a larger hdd and i have also backed up my games. My issue is as follows: I have the original HDD that was in the xbox, just sitting in a cover on my desk, now there is alot of data saved on it that i would like to get off and put onto my pc, ANY HELP would be most appreciated, regards Matt, from south australia
Just FTP the data from your stock drive over to your PC then back to your Xbox after you reinstall the large hard drive. Are you familiar with using FlashFxp?? Here is a good tutorial by PimpDawg... http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/213943
also of the subject. could i add more skins into the A.I.D folder before i burn it??? so that way i dont need to ftp it to get skins across, would this work?
uppon2, You are going to have to put your original hard drive back in your Xbox.. As for your second question, I've never heard about adding skins to AID before burning it to a disk.. I've always FTP'd skins from my pc to the skins folder in my Xbox's C drive.....
Cool i figured out how to ftp, all skins are across now, when putting original hdd back in do i need to install AID on it?? or can i still ftp without it?. Cheers
