I am a complete noob at this. I want to mod my XBOX just to be able to make backups of games on DVD. After reading through a slew of threads I have come up with this combination of software/mod chip Xecutor CE3 Mod chip Evolution X Dash Flash FXP for FTP Craxtion 3.1 for xISO's Nero Is this a good combo? I also would like to know if soft modding would be better in this case, like I said I just want to be able to back up games on DVD. I found some excellent tutorials on here for complete setup of XBOX down to burning the disc but any suggestions/tutorials would be helpful. Tell me what you think.
I softmodded my Xbox and works great. Have a 300gbHD in it and place the games right on the drive or I can network up to my computer with Xbox and burn them to disc. I used the Action Replay method. Was alot eaiser then installing a chip.
Actually a chip isn't that hard for me at least. But if you plan on going on xbox live i would do the modchip way if not then save yourself some money and do it the softmod way, it's very nice. degalle
