I want to put in a bigger hdd in my box already softmodded with UnleashX dash could someone post a thread to a tutorial onhow to do that or just reply and tell me. also my friends box screwed up and now he gets an error 21 is there any way to fix this it is unmodded and if not i woudl like to know how to get the files off of that hdd. thanks

My is here: - download and extract softmod files from the link above on PC. You will have C and E folder. OR you can ftp the whole C drive and E drive from softmod xbox to PC. - donwload and ftp Config Magic to xbox. Run it and backup eeprom. If you already backup eeprom, then don't need to do this. Just ftp eeprom.bin to pc. - download and read tut of xboxhdm1.9 http://xguides.xbox-scene.com/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=XBOXHDM+for+dummies http://forums.xbox-scene.com/lofiversion/index.php/t244043.html - Make a boot disk. Make sure you put: eeprom.bin into eeprom folder everything inside C folder (download) into C folder everything inside E folder (download) into E folder - Connect as the tut said - format big hdd - copy data from C folder to C drive, E folder to E drive. - lock hdd with the eeprom. Done This is hard for begginners.
hey thanks for the reply but will the hotswap method work to fix that error 21 even thoought it happend on its own, no mods have ever been tried on it.
