Hi anyone, as title suggests I want to use a PC for Hi Fi source playing Exact audio copy WAVs in place of CDs. In itself no problem but, I want the PC to be a server out of sight and earshot, I also dont want to have a screen keyboard and mouse cluttering things up. I read somewhere of someone using a Palm T5 with bluetooth as screen and full feature remote control of their audio PC but in my hurry to read more, lost track of that mail / post so I can't contact the fella to find out how its done. Help please!
Im not quite sure on THE HOW TO but ive seen a program for palmOS called Noviiremote deluxe http://www.novii.tv/
Ta for reply but that only does infra red control of dvd's etc. I have since come across Pocketwerks Vinyl which appears to almost fit the bill though I have seen nothing about it working with Foobar yet. Frankly I am amazed that this subject isn't already well developed here on Afterdawn, lets hope it snowballs. In theory, with a good simple 1 bit DAC working off SPDIF / optical out, exact audio copy WAV's can approach the quality of very expensive standalone CD players. Add the convenience of browsing and playing your collection from your hand and it has to make sense hasn't it? Any further info Very welcome, Cheers, Ian
