I recently purchased a DVD burner that came with nero 8
I have never used nero before. always heard good things about it.
But any way I want to do a system back up disk or disks of my
windows XP System. I have been looking through the Guides cannot seem
to find one. Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Rich

Don't use nero for that, nero does too many things but it's mainly a burner (which is what it does best). Nero from the time I tried to use it as a backup software only backups data, it won't backup the entire drive and make it bootable.

Use this free software (macrium reflect) instead. I already tested it on my computer backing up my c: drive (windows xp system partition) and restoring that backup back onto the hard drive. The hard drive booted up perfectly. It's very fast it backed up my amd9750 quad 6gb of data in less than 2 minutes (compressing it to 4gb). It took 10 minutes to restore it. Theirs other free backup software like "paragon drivebackup express", but that one takes 10 minutes to backup the same data.

The free software (macrium reflect) works rather well.
still playing with it. Made a recovery dvd last night.
Working on the C/drive now. Trying to get it all on one disk.
4.7 GB. Got it on 1 and 1/2 the program will not
    run on w/ 2 disk.
