When capturing still images from an mpeg stream (DVD) (I use VirtualDubMod to save) the images look slightly off (ie: slightly elongated faces). I looked to see if there were any adjustments to make for this, but wasn't able to find anything obvious. Movies this happens with is The Exorcist, and ET. Does anyone know what the problem is and, moreso, how to correct it? I can bring the still into Photoshop and stretch it manually - but how daunting can that be for a collection... There has to be a better way.
