Watch DVD's on PC

    Keeping in mind that my tech knowledge is ZERO, how can I watch a DVD on my PC? Thought that since I can play burned audio CD's with RealPlayer or Windows Media Player it would be the same thing, but apparently not. Is there a free download that will allow me to watch?

    First, you need a DVD-rom player. Sounds like you just have a CD-rom player.
    Then you will need software to play the dvd. eg: WinDvd, Power Dvd. These you can find easily with google, but the Dvd-rom is gonna cost ya.

    Yes I believe you are correct in that I have a CD-rom player. Is there no way to find DVD-rom software on-line that isn't costly?
