Can anyone tell me what the best software would be to view music videos? MPG's seem to be what I can view, and wmv or something. I totally don't know anything about this. I downloaded WinDVD and I can view other files, but not all. Is there an All In One software that will play everything? Not to sound cheap or anything, but is there anything to download that is permanently free? I have Windows XP, and I just need a little help. This is my first computer and I don't know very much. Thanks!!

    WinDVD sounds good.

ZoomPlayer is another good player that supports many video formats.

The real problem you might have when downloading music videos is which codec you might need to view the movie. If you ever come across a video that cant play, you might want to run it through GSPOT to see which codecs you need to watch the video._X_X_X_X_X_[small]Life is but a dream...so wake me up already!!![/small]

Thanks, I'll try that. I've deleted the files I couldn't play already, but I will try to get them back and do what you suggested. One of them was an m2v file. It played once and then WinDVD said there was an error or an unsupported format used. I'll try your suggestion. Thank you!

WinDVD will usually play everything as long as the correct codecs and filters are installed, i cant see why it wouldnt work for u!

Open the movie up with AVICodec (http://avicodec.duby.info/) and see if you have the codecs needed.... if not it provides you with links to them
