I have hooker up to my computer a regular monitor(vga) and my 40'lcd (dvi to hdmi). i set my tv up as a copy monitor so whatever is on my computer monotor is playing on my tv in the living room. everything works great except when i play a mkv file in media player classic. it shows it playing on my vga screen but in the living room it is just black. (not the whole screen just the part where there should be video playing). I tried hooking it up as an extended monitor and this worked sometimes for playback of mkvs in the living room but would also lock up to media player classic program alot. but i want it as a mirror screen just wondering why there is no video showing up on my living room tv. only for mkv files avi's are fine.
ok i found out that it will play on whichever one i have set up as my primary monitor. if I set up my tv as monitor 1 then i can see the video fine on there but the its black on my computer monitor. anyone know how to make it appear on both?
