Sorry if this is a simple question; I've tried to find a simple answer without success. I've successfully ripped DVDs to my large hard drive and want to just watch them from there, but can't seem to do so. Do they need to be in a single file format, such as an AVI or mpeg or divX? If so, do all the encoders take so long? It estimated 2 hours to encode a 90-minute movie using im too dvd ripper. Thanks for any help!

Hi, I use Imtoo myself. When you ripped the dvd to harddisk with it, which format (e.g. avi, mpeg) did you choose?
