wats the big difference between DVD-R andDVD+R

    it depends on what you you want your DVD's to work on...

    a wise oriental man with an eye patch once told me-

    [bold]DVD-R will play in 98% of all DVD players[/bold]

    [bold]DVD+R will play in 90% of all DVD players[/bold]

    (dont know where them figures are from, but it fits in with my own findings)

    i dont know what the compatability with PS2, Xbox etc is, you need to do a search for that info, but i almost exclusively use DVD-R..

    Here's some tecnical stuff on the two formats. http://www.cdfreaks.com/article/113 I prefer the +r format primarily because I booktype them dvd-rom for best chance of compatability with set-top players.
