When I click on Wave editor It looks like it opens but I don't see anything. When I go to the task Manager I see it there in the Processes but I don't see the Program running. I Have Windows XP Pro SP2 and the Nero Version is 7.5.9.0 I have uninstalled and reinstalled I also Used the Remove tools on Nero Web Site and That Also Did not work. Anyone have any Ideas?
Sometime during the last year, I have had your situation during an install. Usually reinstalling cured the problem, but since yours doesn't work after a reinstall, all I might guess is that you have something left that has not been cleaned with the Clean Tools. I have gone through and checked for anything with Nero or Ahead in the file system and tried to delete those. I have gone through the Registry and checked for anything there, and Nero does use many entries in the Registry. Have you tried shutting down the process and then restarting? Are there 2 entries for the process? How do you start the program, with SmartStart or directly? One person had a bad shortcut to the utility. Mine is below, you might check it against yours. "C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Nero WaveEditor\waveedit.exe" -ScParameter=8 This would be under the properties for the WaveEditor entry on the start button. Try starting the program by clicking on the .exe file directly. And, I guess lastly, double check your serial number.
