wave editor problem

hi
im having an issue with the audacity wave editor...if u open up the wave editer and look at the left side of it there are these numbers
1.0 then 0.5 then 0.0...0.0 is right on the line where the song would
be.now my problem....the wave files cant go beyond the 0.5 meter mark.
they used to go beyond the 0.5 and up to the 1.0 mark but now they cant go beyond the 0.5 mark...i cant seem to open them up.i checked wiki but
this is not listed there...thanks

Select the Audacity screen showing the problem and hit alt+print screen
on the keyboard. Open mspaint.exe (from the RUN box) hit
ctrl+V (this will paste the image in). Make sure it's as you like
it, and save it as a JPG.

Use http://imageshack.us/ to submit the image to the image hosting site.
When it's accepted, you'll see 3 or 4 links. Select the first link,
"hotlink for forums(1)" Hilight and hit CTRL+C, and paste that link
in your reply in this forum (ctrl+v). Hit "preview" to make sure
it works.

That's why I mentioned using the preview button before
submitting your post. You get to see the results before
committing it.
