I stand corrected, I have been banned. Not that I actually give a rat's ass about it, I only used my testing month on live and downloaded some demos and divX codec. The ban didn't disable the divX codec by the way.
And also it didn't come unexpected. Time for an unstealth firmware.

In light of c4eva's posting of this new UNDETECTABLE litetouch it is safe to make the connection that the other firmware's were indeed detectable otherwise he wouldn't of made the statement the new one is undetectable. I have burned games,played them early, done everything everyone else has. I am NOT banned, why? I have not installed the new updates from live that are able to detect the firmware. I know im not banned yet because my warranty is still intact on xbox.com. So i would daresay this, coupled with playing games early and bad iso downloads with improper use of abgx is the reasoning.

I also might not be banned since i download all my own games and don't use abgx

 

I'm wondering for those who got banned did you purchase anything from Live i.e. games,movies,add-ons etc. The biggest occurring theme I've noticed from people who said they were banned was the abgx that and people who used torrents. Sadly my box was stolen from me so I can't tell you but I'll check in with a friend to see if any of the boxes I did for him got banned.

Mark my words man you will be banned...As for the updates that supposedly contained the detection methods...how did you avoid not downloading those? They were mandatory to go on live...

Yeah..I dont know why I post on here..80% of the people are lying or are just flat out making things up about a number of things/issues. Anyone who just uses common sence would know what is going on or what is most likely gonna happen. What really gets me is the people who act like they know comm4eva and have the inside scoop or are super hackers in the know, or how they did everything 100% by the book and just cannot understand why they got banned so to them it was this or that..Just because you can flash a box does not mean your a hacker or have some special skills. Its all automated script kiddie crap. My grandmother could do it considering all the faq and youtube vids...lol. It was a privlage for us to do all of this..NOT a right. Some people just cannot get that through their heads no matter what....geez whizz

 

That is a bad assumption. He said that Lite Touch will be indistinguishable from the standard firmware. That does not mean that the current iXtreme firmware is detectable. iXtreme may cause discs to respond in a way that is detectable, but that's totally different from them actually being able to detect the firmware itself.

If you think that the firmware itself IS detectable, then why on earth would you say this?.....

 

i flashed a xbox 360 samsung 1.6.1 about 4 weeks ago and its been connected to live but its never beeen connected while running a game so i never got one of those weird double update screens or even the normal game patch updates and so far i sign into live often and no ban yet ive played gta 4 backup and fable 2 backup and uh... and my original ufc undisputed and hmmm dead rising back up the machine was flashed using the xbox as a power source aswell just thought someone could possibly find that even slightly interesting

also left 4 dead 1 backup aswell

 

can anyone confirm if i play original game on xbox live will get me ban or not? for those that were banned, were you playing the original game or the copied game. thank you

 

some people have been banned playing originals on live cause of the firmware on the drive..i believe so atleast so what you should do is just wait another week or two till ixtreme lite touch comes out
