I am noobie i can't seem to find the answer any where if it's been asked a 100 times i'm srry.. is a DVD just basicly a larger storage then a normal cd? can i burn .wav to DVD and the home stero be able to read it? so i can fit more songs in .wav format on a DVD then a cd?
.wav files on DVD can be played back on computers only, I'm afraid. You have some other possibilities, though: - DVD-Audio: capable player + special software (not free) needed (see high resolution audio forum) - mp3 DVD: burn a data DVD with mp3 files. Many DVD players are capable of reading them - DVD-Video with the .wav files used as audio stream (either as .wav or lossy compressed as AC3 or mp2). Can be done with free software, or very easily with DVD+Audio Creator. Playble with any DVD player that can handle writable media.
