I found this help thread online but i dont know how to log into my router, the router is wrt54g Linksys

    1. you need to log into your router
    2. Click on the security tab
    3. Uncheck the box that says "Block Anonymous Internet Requests"

you can keep your firewalls up and still host -- you may have to open a port -- the blizzard site explains how to do that.

The password is for the router not anything on you computer.

Have a look in the documentation that came with your router, it should tell you there what it is.

YES! i finally get to lend my expertise in wc3, the game i havent turned off in 2 years!

    ok so go to start>run>cmd

    type ipconfig /all

write down the gateway and the ip

type the gateway into your browser, a username/pass thing should come up. leave the username blank and type admin for the password. if it dosnt work press the reset button on your router, or find it out from whomever set your router up

NOW! go to either forwarding(under advanced) or apps & gaming, depending which you have

now look for the ports. put in a name if theres a slot, just wc3 or somthing
type 6112 in the first, 6119 in the second, select both under the third option, and enter the last 3 letters of the ip adress you wrote down in the last box. press save and you can host!
