WD media Player out of sync

    I have just bought a WD Media Player and some, not all of the dvd's are way out of sync when played back. Can anybody help me.

    Not sure about DVDs, but I see the odd XviD video that's ok on the PC and out of sync on the WD.
    In those cases, I load the file in AviDemux and on the left side menu, set 'Video' and 'Audio to 'Copy' and the container to 'MKV' - it plays ok when saved to the flash drive.
    Note that saving the output file from AviDemux, you must give the file the full name including the extension, e.g. newfile.mkv

    I downloaded Avidemux and followed your directions but don't know where the file was saved. They don't seem to have easy instructions.
    Any ideas. Thanks again.

    either click the 'save' logo on the top menu or 'File' > 'Save' and browse to where you want it.
    Remember to give it an extension, e.g. new.mkv
