    hi all
ihave read that there will be a new web browser for the DS, it is called DS opera, of course it was inevitable that they would make one eventually. There is a down side though, it will set you back something like £22 which is not very good seeing as you get it standard with a psp.
I just thought it was good information to share, you can read about it here

IIRC, all versions of Opera are available for free - even the mobile versions - if you are willing to put up with the ads at the top right. And THAT can be easily taken care of with a HOSTS file. I just don't know if DS directly supports Hosts or DNS redirection or if you have to run a separate DNS.

Or you could just load up your DS with linux and run Retawq (http://www.dslinux.org/wiki/Retawq). It's still a bit developmental at this point, but if somone has a working browser out, there's sure to be more coming up in the way of homebrew. Keep in mind OperaDS isn't going to support flash or many other features a typical browser does, so don't think retawq is plain inferior.
