I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good software for capturing streaming video that is being sent via a webcam over AOL Instant Messenger or Yahoo Messenger?

My webcam is a Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000, and I'm just using the software it came with. What I'm curious is if there is any software that can be used to capture video that a buddy is sending you over AIM or Yahoo via their webcam.

i'm installing the trial for camtasia now, from the description i've read it should work for what i need... a screen capture is easy, just "print scr" on the keyboard and paste into ms paint or something, i'm looking for something that will record a live video feed, not just a still picture...hopefully camtasia will do that

snagit7 has a 21 day trial which can probably do what you will need, and can be used with heaps of programs.I do screen capture and save my images as jpg but you can save vidoe/web content as gifs etc.Very good application
