I was burning a friend of mine some anime to a DVD, I'm using Nero 6.6. I booted up Nero Express, selected data disc non-bootable but I also did a bootable one as well, added the files and burned at 4x but when I put the disc back in the computer it doesn't show any of the files on the DVDR nor does it say its empty; its just like a 4gig disc of emptiness. Any ideas?

you might even just have the files on hidden? thats my best guess try going to tools while in the cd and then folder options then view and scroll down and click on show all hidden files and apply if you dont see them im not sure sorry =)

I just used IsoBuster and it can read whats on the discs but if I just put the disc in the drive or try to look at it via Explorer it acts as if nothing is on it. Any idea what this problem could be?

You should start your own thread.

From Nero Express choose Music-> Audio CD.

let's have LAST section of your Nero log which lives in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar.

you can differentiate sections via this section divider "====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======"

IsoBuster does not use Windows to read the disc. Since Windows cannot read the disc, it can be a driver problem or a burner problem. Uninstall the CD/DVD driver and reinstall it, or check the drive with a diagnostics program.
