i am somewhat confused by this...since i formatted and reinstalled all my codecs, when i encode to avi using virtual dub and lame with audio set to 128k, the finished file actually has an audio bitrate of 127k. i dont get this problem with any other encoders and i was getting 128k with virtual dub and lame before i formatted. any ideas what ive done wrong?

When VirtualDUB processes audio, it uses the default codec for it. When you uninstalled and re-installed, the default codec may have changed. It is unusual but not unseen. It happens with a lot of encoders
