Hello all I have a lite-on LDW-411S dvd drive which burns both dvd-r and dvd+r discs. I backup dvds either using dvd x copy or dvd-shrink with nero. My problem is this my computer (windows 2000 OS) will allow me to burn both dvd-r and dvd+r's no problem by either method, but will not allow to playback dvd-r's. My standalone player has no problem playing either burnt disc format (sampo 612n a beast of a machine). I back up a lot of pal disc as Im a brit in NJ and cant live without my multiregional playback. Any suggestions?
