I have a strange one. I have an older (~8 yrs-old) Sony boombox that will only play the CD-R's that I burn with my Sony CD-RW CRX810E. I have a new Sony DRX-500ulx that burns great, but the boombox does not want to play them when I press the play button. It will play them if you skip to the next track and then rewind back to the beginning. I have tried decreasing the write speed, trying to make everything the same as when I use the other burner. The boombox seems to have trouble with the initialization phase of playing. I thought this was somewhat strange. What do you think? tillitea

Thx....... EDIT not sure with music as i have heard there are about 8 protections types for retail discs?_X_X_X_X_X_[small]XP 1700 TBred [Fan 28-Idle/32-Load/23M] [o/c 2004mhz = 12X167/33 = FSB-334mhz] A7V8X SATA150/RAID 2x80 gig [Bios 1011] HERCULES 3D PROPHET [9700 Pro] DX9/CAT-3.1 VIA 4in1 Hyperion v445] XMS Corsair Platinum pc3500 2x512 1024 meg 2x512[/small]
