Fisrt I am very confused...when I play my XVID video...it plays perfect but then when I fast forward... I get this error... "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."....Then it crashes the player..but the file plays pefectly other then that. I am using Media center and Media Player 10 both give same errors...??..

    I am using..XviD-1.1.0-30122005 _Final Release...

I would love to get this problem worked out any help??? Thanks!!

    Hi,

Welcome to Afterdawn. I would suggest a program (free) which is called divx play. The current version is 6.3 and works well with windows media center and windows. You can find the program on filepedia (affiliated with afterdawn). Good luck and post back to let us know if this works.
